"Dining to Donate" EASA Fundraiser (August 23rd 4-9pm): EASA is hosting a fundraiser at Applebees. With the flyer (see attachment), 10% of your bill will be donated to the figure skating club! Please pass this along to your friends and family!!! The more $ we make, the more successful the program can be! Please note that this event event will take place at the WOOD-RIVER Applebees.

Lock-In (August 27th 10:00pm-6:00am): EASA is hosting a lock-in at the ice arena. This event is open to all 3rd through 8th graders. Participants can skate, play games, and hang out with their friends!!! The cost is $15 and the concession stand will be open all night. This is a very well chaperoned event!!!

Open House (August 28th 1-2:45pm): This rink sponsored event is for anyone and everyone interested in skating. If you have the flyer your public session will be $1 off that day! (See attached flyer) East Alton Skating Academy, Learn-to-skate, Learn-to-Play, MVCHA high school hockey, Twin Bridges hockey association, and possibly SUIE Cougar hockey information will be available!! This is an event for the whole family to attend, and please bring a friend!!!!

Learn-to-skate (October 9th through December 12th): Learn-to-skate classes will switch to Saturdays 11:45-12:45pm starting in October. The prices will be $110 for new skaters (new since summer 1 session), and $110 for current skaters. The session will be 10 weeks long, with the last 2 weeks being reserved for show practices and a show following the conclusion of the session!

Antiquities Story Board pictures :The skating club is selling coupons for 10 x 13 photos for $10. Clothing and props will be provided. Three poses are included in the storyboard. Photos will be taken on October 23rd at the East Alton American Legion. See a skating club member if interested!

Curtis Sanford, Bryce Salvador and Radek Dvorak spoke to youth hockey teams and posed for lots of pictures. The Blues visit was part of a new community outreach program by the St. Louis Blues Hockey Club. Players, coaches and other employees visited a total of nine ice rinks in the St. Louis area on the 7th. East Alton Ice Arena was very excited to be selected to participate in this special day.
